Jupiter, also known as Petey, is ready to keep company with you
Need a little godliness in your life? Meet Jupiter, also known as Petey, age 7 months. This miniature panther is seriously the most lovable kitten Lifeline for Pets volunteers have ever known.
When he isn’t showing off his stunning good looks in the sunshine of his foster family’s catio, he is trying to melt into the body of the nearest human. Petey enjoys batting around a faux fur mouse and chasing a laser pen, but what he loves most of all is being with you.
If you are looking for a cat who will mostly keep to himself, look elsewhere. However, if you are interested in a dog-cat (he even plays fetch!) who will follow you around and burrow into your body at night, Petey is your man, er, kitten.
Lifeline for Pets recommends that he is adopted with either one of his sibling sisters, or a young cat you may already have. See more pictures of Petey at www.lifelineforpets.org/jupiter.html

Max, No. A512840, is easy to love
Max has a 1000 megawatt smile! This handsome guy is 90 pounds of love who is ready to warm up your couch (or your lap).
We think that Max is a Rhodesian ridgeback mix, and he’s approximately 8 years old. He has a lot of energy but would rather snuggle on the couch than go out on the town.
Max recently had a sleepover with one of our foster families and he was an ideal house guest. He is house trained and has great inside manners. He is also very treat-motivated and has shown his mastery of several training cues.
This guy might want to be the only dog in your life, but he’s got the heart of ten dogs rolled into one. Come fall in love with Max today!
The adoption fee for dogs is $150. All dog adoptions include spay or neuter, microchip and age-appropriate vaccines.
View photos of adoptable pets and schedule an adoption appointment on the website. Adoptions are by appointment only, and new adoption appointments are available at 10 a.m. Sundays and Wednesdays. Walk-ins are available from 2-5 p.m. every day.
Pets may not be available for adoption and cannot be held for potential adopters by phone calls or email. pasadenahumane.org
Vin, No. A512800, is ready to take long walks with you
One-year-old Vin is a happy-go-lucky lab/husky mix who has never met a person who is not his new best friend forever.
Vin is sure to steal your heart with his silly nature and A+ personality. He is very cuddly and playful, and he seems to get along well with other similar-sized dogs.
He recently spent the day out with the Pasadena Humane mobile team and had a wonderful time. He met dozens of people, played with every toy he could find and got to practice all his training cues. He made fast friends with one of the other dogs — they even traded toys back and forth.
Vin is an active dog, so he would be an ideal hiking or walking companion. He walks very nicely next to his person like the well-behaved boy he is!
