Abstract

A osmotic delivery device comprising a) a core which contains 1) a drug layer (active ingredient, gelling, agent, excipient), 2) a push layer oxide with a molecular weight of 4,000,000 or lower), b) a semipermeable membrane, c) at least one passageway through the semipermeable membrane into the drug layer. Process of manufacturing. The use of a doxazosin-containing composition for the manufacture of a medicament for treating hypertension and benign prostata hyperplasia.
