    3. Disconnectthebreathertubefromthecamshaftcover.

    4. Removetheaircleanerhousingbolts.
    5. Removetheaircleanerhousing.
    6. Removetherightfrontwheel.RefertoSection2E,TiresandWheels.
    7. Removetherightfrontwheelwellsplashshield.

    8. Removetheserpentineaccessorydrivebelt.RefertoSection6B,PowerSteeringPump.
    9. Removethecrankshaftpulleybolt.
    10. Removethecrankshaftpulley.

    11. Removetheupperfronttimingbeltcoverbolts.
    12. Removetheupperfronttimingbeltcover.
    13. Removethelowerfronttimingbeltcoverbolts.
    14. Removethelowerfronttimingbeltcover.
    15. Installthecrankshaftpulleybolt.

    16. Usingthecrankshaftpulleybolt,rotatethecrankshaftclockwiseuntilthetimingmarkonthe
    crankshaftgearisalignedwiththenotchatthebottomofthereartimingbeltcover.

    17. Slightlyloosenthewaterpumpretainingbolts.
    18. UsingthetimingbeltadjusterJ42492,rotatethewaterpumpcounterclockwisetoreleasethe
    tensiononthetimingbelt.
    19. Removetherightenginemountbracket.Referto"EngineMount"inthissection.

    20. Removethetimingbelt.

    InstallationProcedure
    1. Alignthetimingmarkonthecrankshaftgearwiththenotchonthebottomofthereartimingbelt
    cover.
    2. Alignthetimingmarksonthecamshaftgears.

    3. Installthetimingbelt.
    4. Installtherightenginemountbracket.Referto"EngineMount"inthissection.

    5. RotatethewaterpumpclockwiseusingthetimingbeltadjusterJ42492.
    6. Rotatethewaterpumpclockwiseuntiltheadjustarmpointerofthetimingbeltautomatictensioner
    isalignedwiththenotchinthetimingbeltautomatictensionerbracket.

    7. Tightenthewaterpumpretainingbolts.
    8. Rotatethecrankshafttwofullturnsclockwiseusingthecrankshaftpulleybolt.
    9. Loosenthewaterpumpretainingbolts.
    10. Rotatethewaterpumpuntiltheadjustarmpointerofthetimingbeltautomatictensionerisaligned
    withthepointeronthetimingbeltautomatictensionerbracket.

    11. Tightenthewaterpumpretainingbolts.
    Tighten
    Tightenthewaterpumpretainingboltsto10Nm(89lbin).

    12. Removethecrankshaftpulleybolt.
    13. Installtheupperandlowerfronttimingbeltcovers.
    14. Installtheupperandlowerfronttimingbeltcoverbolts.
    Tighten
    Tightenthefronttimingbeltcoverboltsto10Nm(89lbin).

    15. Installthecrankshaftpulley.
    16. Installthecrankshaftpulleybolt.
    Tighten
    Tightenthecrankshaftpulleyboltto95Nm(70lbft)andretighten30degreesplus15degrees.
    17. Installtheserpentineaccessorydrivebelt.RefertoSection6B,PowerSteeringPump.
    18. Installtherightfrontwheelwellsplashshield.
    19. Installtherightfrontwheel.RefertoSection2E,TiresandWheels.

    20. Installtheaircleanerhousing.
    21. Installtheaircleanerhousingbolts.
    Tighten
    Tightentheaircleanerhousingboltsto10Nm(89lbin).
    22. Connecttheaircleaneroutlethosetothethrottlebody.
    23. Connectthebreathertubetothecamshaftcover.
    24. Connectthenegativebatterycable.
