100% 9 Reviews Tomatometer 71% Fewer than 50 Ratings Audience Score The Flintstones were the modern Stone Age family. Residing in Bedrock, Fred Flintstone worked an unsatisfying quarry job, but returned home to lovely wife Wilma and eventually daughter Pebbles. TIME Staff TIME Magazine The Hanna-Barbera shop is efficient but unconventional. Jan 30, 2019 Full Review Anna Pickard Guardian The realness of the relationships and relatability of the characters was designed to appeal to a mature (or semi-mature) sensibility - an influence that can be seen in generations of cartoon families to follow. Oct 31, 2018 Full Review Emily St. James AV Club The Flintstones, just like every other Hanna-Barbera cartoon of the era, works enormously well as a kind of indoctrination for kids into sitcom tropes. Oct 31, 2018 Full Review Filip Vukcevic IGN Movies This is a classic show, and while it may not be all that entertaining by today's standards, it is a major achievement in animation history and something that's certainly better than the kid's cartoons of today. Oct 31, 2018 Full Review Daniel Kurland Den of Geek The show operates as a family sitcom that depicts zany adventures intersecting with the normalcy of married life. It just also happens to have tiny dinosaurs functioning as garbage disposals or wooly mammoths being a must-have for any bathroom. Oct 31, 2018 Full Review Taran Bassi metro.co.uk All you ever wanted was a shirt like Fred's and hair like Wilma's. If only your parents let you have a pet dinosaur, then your life would have been way easier. Sigh. Oct 31, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
