Spodiopogon sibiricus is a very special type of grass that looks a lot like bamboo in terms of foliage and growth.
When the fresh new shoots emerge in the spring, they are fresh green in color.

In the autumn there is a discoloration of the foliage from fresh green to orange / red.
The maximum height is between 100-140 cm. The leaf is approximately 1-1.5 cm wide and is between 30-40 cm long.
In July, this grass variety will bloom and the fine golden colored spikes will elegantly extend above the plant.
Planting 5-7 pieces per m² is sufficient.
In March you can cut the old foliage to the ground, after which in April / May the plant runs out again with fresh new stalks.
Spodiopogon sibiricus endures a wet place in your garden very well and is very hardy.
Winter hardiness zone 5a (-26ºC).
