Digital Reporter
Amy Larson is a 16-year veteran journalist, and a Digital Reporter for KRONon, the first 24/7 local news app in the Bay Area. She earned a master’s degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York City. Larson was a web news editor at Newsday on Long Island before she returned to California to become a digital media manager for KSBW Action News 8 on the Central Coast of California.
Larson is most well known for her crime and court reporting. She was featured in a CNN true crime documentary for her exclusive one-on-one interview with the “Call Girl Killer” Alix Tichelman. Most recently, Larson covered the “Hillsborough Heiress” Tiffany Li murder trial, Scott Peterson retrial battle, and Elizabeth Holmes Silicon Valley fraud trial. Larson enjoys covering any topic ocean-related as well.
