Many of us have anecdotes about friends or sisters trimming our bangs with safety scissors when we were kids (Kylie Jenner just posted a pic of a haircut Kendall once gave her). But I can't say I'd heard of anyone who's gotten drunk and gotten a haircut—until now. In a slightly unsettling interview with People, actress Analeigh Tipton reveals that not only was she inebriated when she got her recent pixie, she cut her own hair!
"I cut it myself really drunk one Sunday—true story," she told the magazine, saying she styled the hair in a mohawk the first day but then "went and got it fixed 'cause it had like giant chops." She's also since taken her hair from blond to this darker auburn shade.
Tipton added: "I think every woman should cut their hair. It's very liberating and terrifying." Perhaps, but preferably that would be done sober? Though I know Tipton only from previews for the short-lived Manhattan Love Story, I find her completely adorable, both in this new short cut and her previous chin-length one. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure a drunken pixie wouldn't end quite so well for the other 99 percent of us.
