It's been a majorly big night for Saweetie. Not only was she hosting the MTV European Music Awards, she also performed two songs from her forthcoming debut album, Pretty Bitch Music, AND won the award for 'Best New Artist'.
If that wasn't enough, she also happened to deliver eleven (eleven!) incredible looks at the awards show, referencing everything from skate culture to errr, Squid Game.
So naturally, we had to take a proper look at each one. And it's safe to say we weren't disappointed:
She kicked off proceedings by wearing an ombré Givenchy gown, with plenty of tassles and a halter neck detail. Next up, she swapped the tassles for a more demure (but no less sexy) black lace dress, which gave *major* Countess vibes.
For her first performance of the night, Saweetie wore a futuristic bodysuit, which complimented her bedazzled microphone. She also worked an incredible hairstyle, with long ponytail on the top of her head.
Next came the collaboration that no one saw coming: Saweetie meets Squid Game. Surrounded by backing dancers wearing the infamous red jumpsuits and black masks on the hit Netflix show, Saweetie took to the stage wearing a deep blue dress with a v-neckline that reached her waist. She topped off the look with an ornamental head piece.
Saweetie's next outfit change saw her slip into a slinky nude dress, with hip cut-outs and diamanté detailing. Don't forget the iridescent head wrap.
Another outfit change, another head wrap. This time Saweetie lost the dress and went for a Friday night with the girls kind of vibe. Of course, she ramped up the impact with maximalist earrings and extremely long nails. It's a vibe.
Next up Saweetie combined old-school glamour with Rihanna circa 2011. If you know, you know.
Saweetie wore a purple and gold ensemble to accept her award for 'Best New Artist', we particularly love the strong detailing around her neck, and the gold headpiece.
In an outfit that wouldn't look out of place at the Met Gala, Saweetie wore a cotton candy pink gown, which had soo many layers of gorgeous fabric. She also wore a matching headpiece, and – at this point – we're slightly concerned that hats are fast coming back in style.
In news that should be welcomed, Saweetie just made it acceptable to wear trackies to the MTV EMAs. Skateboard optional.
Phew, I think we can all agree it's been a journey.
