The Terios is no longer available in SA, because Daihatsu (in our country) is no more. But a second-hand Terios still remains a good buy, as parts are still readily available. The Terios is roomy enough for transporting bicycles and 4x4-derivatives have a manually lockable centre differential, so the Terios is more than just a soft-roader. Daihatsu first launched the Terios in Japan in 1997. The Terios was also branded as a Toyota Rush and fitted with a 1,3 litre or 660cc engine in 4WD or 2WD derivatives. It is has survived two design generations and has entered its third in 2018. The second generation model had wider dimensions and came with a more powerful 1.5-litre engine. The Terios has also picked up a few awards along the way. The third generation Daihatsu Terios was revealed in Indonesia in November 2017. For its third generation
