Inside Emma Roberts’s Charming Los Angeles Home
Today, AD is welcomed by Emma Roberts to tour her charming Los Angeles home. When The American Horror Story star and her son moved into their new home, she enlisted AD100’s Pierce & Ward to work their magic on the space. Rich florals and luxurious velvets pair with vintage furniture creating a cozy environment for Roberts to kick back and relax. Roberts was excited at the idea of making her very own grown-up dollhouse and with an extensive doll collection, her home has become just that. Ready for a new chapter in her new home, Roberts couldn’t be happier with how the space turned out. “I have a picture of the day we moved in,” Roberts says, smiling. “I’m holding him and it was the most sunny California day, and we were in front of the blue door of our new house. I just remember feeling like we are exactly where we need to be.”

Inside Benny Blanco’s Fun-Filled L.A. Home
Today, AD is welcomed by hit music producer Benny Blanco to tour his home in Los Angeles. Built in 1939, Blanco’s spacious home is just a stone’s throw away from his recording studio, but despite its proximity to work, Blanco’s design brief was all-play, no-work. With the help of Rachel Leigh Ward and Dana M. Vitrano of bonVIVANT Interiors and designer Keefe Butler of Studio BAD, the resulting space is eclectic and playful with plenty of areas to kick back and relax with family and friends, including superstar girlfriend Selena Gomez. From a red velvet movie theatre with a candy room to a Mariah Carey-worthy dressing room, Blanco’s home is full of personality and fun for all. “I know the house is kooky…one time, a friend told me, ‘I love coming over to your house because I feel like I can just let go and be my true self.’ That’s exactly what I’m going for here.”

Inside The Home Frank Lloyd Wright Designed For His Son
Today, AD travels to Phoenix, Arizona, to tour the David and Gladys Wright house—the home designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright for his son. When your father is America’s most celebrated architect, the greatest gift he could give you is a house, and this unique home uses many of the same ideas Lloyd Wright incorporated in the design of the Guggenheim Museum. The spiral structures, often symbolizing the infinite or longevity, are poetic, as David and his wife Gladys lived to be over 100 years old in this house. After many years of neglect and threats of demolition, father-and-daughter duo Bing and Amanda Hu bought the house and have since been on a mission to restore it to its former glory, keeping its legacy alive.
