This one popped up on Watchrecon, and I can't say I've ever seen one before. Anyone familiar with it, can you share your opinions?

Can't say I am taken by its beauty really. Don't like those style of hands and the thick arabics around the bezel. Too make whohar and not enough yum in my humble.

I like it but to me it looks just like all the rest of the Seiko divers!

The chrono version is an SNDA13....the non-chrono is a SKX383. I had the non-chrono version...it is a HUGE watch....I think it was about 15-16mm tall....I'm a big guy and can handle most watches size-wise....but this thing was just too tall for even me. On the "up" side....it kept time flawlessly and had nuclear lume.
There was also yellow dialed versions of both watches:

My Orange Land Monster is 15mm tall and thats a bit too much for me but I wear it anyway because I like the watch.

$370.00 AUD is about $343.00 USD....so that's actually a pretty fair deal comparatively speaking.
I've seen the now-discontinued chrono versions go for $400.00+.

Some people have issue with the crown digging into their wrist.
Not a fan of diver chronographs. The regular model looks cool though.

My opinion? Beautiful freakin watch. Well, I got the yellow. I like what I like, not what others like. But oh yeah it's hefty. Check out the profile. I like having a little torture device built in to dig in my wrist. (Did I just say that out loud?)

Here's mine with a kickass deployment bracelet. No problem with the crown size or the overall heft of the watch. The date window is not worth a cracker. Any one over 18 would need glasses to read it . Other wise a pleasure to wear and lots of wrist presence to boot.

I would like to see one in the flesh. Looks like a pretty huge watch but if it wears comfortably, I'd give it a go. I'd take one with that Spork looking rubber strap, suits it well IMHO.

I like the look of the watch but that crown looks huge. I assume it's got a quartz movement?
The case design also looks unique.

Pretty cool looking watch.
I love the fact that since it is a rated and marked "Diver's Watch" they had to put a lume meatball on the back of the running seconds hand (9 o'clock register).
