The Milodón Cave is an ideal alternative for an easy day. Inside this half-day excursion, we will visit a group of caves inside of the natural monument, located outside the city of Puerto Natales. Around the Benitez Hill is where we will be able to see one of the most information-rich places in the region.

This place is conformed by 7 caves, out of which, three are protected as Natural Monument by the government of Chile. In each one of them, it is possible to find remainings of the first inhabitants of the Patagonian steppe, including cave paintings, and in this area, remainings of animals from the megafauna were also found, like the Milodón, the Sable-tooth Tiger, and the Hippidion Saldiasi.

As each of the places chosen by the Aonikenk, this place is characterized for having exceptional geology, privileged views, and favorable weather conditions.
