How to get to Alushta, Crimea

Alushta is located 50 kilometers from Simferopol and a little more from the airport on the Black Sea coast (Alushta on the map (). In terms of transport, the city is very conveniently located, but you can only get here by bus or taxi. Many intercity and suburban buses pass through it from Simferopol and Simferopol airport in the direction of Yalta and Sudak, the fare is low. From mainland Russia to Alushta can be reached through Simferopol airport. Travel on a special "single ticket" from the cities of Russia is not provided, but you can get there with a transfer in Sudak or Simferopol. By plane

How to get to Alushta from Simferopol airport

From the airport to Alushta can be reached by taxi, regular buses, and even by trolleybus directly or with a transfer in Simferopol. Buses and trolleybuses run even at night.

• Taxi

  From the airport by taxi you can get faster than 1 hour (60 kilometers), from 1600 rubles. Taxis can be found immediately at the exit from the airport at the counter or at private traders. • Car rental

  You can rent a car directly at the airport of Simferopol, and get to the resort or continue your journey along the peninsula. There is also a rental in the city of Alushta. • Bus

  All buses going to Yalta pass through Alushta, and there are a lot of them. Cost - from 84 rubles. Sent to 06:20, 09:25, 10:05, 11:30, 12:40, 13:15, 13:35, 14:15, 15:20, 16:25, 17:00, 17:40, 19:15, 22:40 (schedule for the 2015 season, subject to change) from the bus station, which is 50 meters from the exit of the airport terminal.   If you don't get on the bus in time, you can easily get through bus station "Kurortnaya" (railway station) in Simferopol. • Trolleybus

  Directly from the airport to Alushta, trolleybus No. 54 (Airport - Alushta) departs at a cost of 85 rubles, 2 and a half hours on the way. Departs every 30 minutes from 06:00 to 21:30, but the schedule may vary. This trolleybus arrives and departs to the very center of the city at the final stop (destination on the map). You can also get to the bus station "Kurortnaya" in Simferopol on any trolleybus or bus, and there take the trolleybus number 51 (Simferopol – Alushta). No. 51 goes much more often than No. 54, from 05:00 to 21:00.

  There is another route-No. 55 (Yalta Airport). Departs every hour from 05:30 to 22:00, but does not enter the city. On it you can get to the stop near the bus station of Alushta.

By train on a single ticket

As of 2015, Russian Railways did not provide single tickets to Alushta. However, you can get on a single ticket to Sudak or Simferopol, and from there, in turn, get to Alushta by bus or trolleybus. Single tickets are purchased at the ticket offices of Russian Railways and on the website rzd.ru/.

By bus to Alushta can be reached from the cities of the Crimea, as well as from the regions of Russia. Basically, these are passing buses to Yalta.

Alushta is connected by regular flights to at least Simferopol, Sevastopol, Yalta, Dzhanka, Evpatoria, Kerch, Sudak, Feodosia. The buses arrive at the bus station which is on the outskirts of the city (Alushta bus station on the map). Some passing and suitable buses make a stop without stopping at the station, but dropping off and picking up passengers at an ordinary city stop opposite it. To the desired place in the city, you can then get by taxi (140 rubles) or public transport.

• From Simferopol airport and Simferopol

  Direct buses depart from Simferopol and the airport to Alushta, a little more than an hour on the way.

  From Simferopol it is best to go from the bus station "Kurortnaya", which is next to the railway station. From there, buses to Alushta depart almost every 15 minutes, including at night, the cost of 72 rubles. There are not so many buses directly to Alushta, but any one to Yalta, the settlements of Greater Yalta, in Sudak will do.

• From Feodosia

  There are flights from Feodosiya without a transfer, but they go through Simferopol, resulting in a "hook". You can get there with a change of bus in Sudak, but in time it may turn out even more due to connecting flights.

• From Yalta

  Alushta and Yalta are often connected by bus and trolleybus services (approximately every half hour). Cost from 53 rubles, about an hour on the road.

• From Sudak

  From Sudak to Alushta, two buses depart daily at 06:05 and 15:40 (back 09:10, 17:05), the cost is 114 rubles, 2 and a half hours on the way.
