Moscow Square: one of the largest in the world

Moskovskaya Square is the largest in Saint Petersburg and is included in the list of the world's largest squares. It appeared in the 1930s and in a very short time became one of the most beautiful and popular spots in the city. The main attraction of the square is the "singing fountains." The complex of several fountains located on the square is arranged in such a way that on holidays and weekends, classical music is played every twenty minutes. Besides them, the square is famous for a large number of buildings, classic Soviet landmarks – the House of Soviets and the monument to V.I. Lenin.
