216th_Peterla
Hi folks, This is my second small pack (two aircrafts) of La-5 models. These skins are fictional-historical due to are based on La-7 profiles find on the web. I like the rarity of the schemes and the contrast of the colors(blue, red) with the whole aircraft concept. The Alpha layer is the default one because I don't know hot to modify them. Anyways I like the glossy finish of the default skins ingame. I have plans for two more rides with interesting camos also. Hope you like them, for sure will add some colorful variations to your skin library. 216th_Peterla
Hi guys, Thanks for your positive feedback. I will port this ones if we ever have a La-5F or FN. No pro. This is other one that I find on the web. The profile looks like Galchenko's La-7 but I can't confirm. Still some more work to do with the camo.

216th_Lucas_From_Hell
Great job, Peterla! The Galchenko aircraft in question is an La-5F by the way. He flew this La-5F up until the end of the war. Here is a photo I found (ignore the caption, you can identify that it is an La-5F by the outlet cowl shutters' shape): Edited May 7, 2016 by 55IAP_Lucas_From_Hell

216th_Peterla
Hi all, I present the third skin pack featuring two aircrafts. They are semi-historical or fictional-historical skins(based on La-7 profiles) but again I like the contrast between the colors. The first one is a version of Galchenko's La-7? but I'm not sure about how historical is it. It differs from the green-black camo version that is the usual profile found elsewhere. Anyways I like it as a secondary color scheme for his aircraft. The other one with the blue nose looks like from the 2nd GIAP. Is interesting in the way the red and blue are fitted together. I hope you like them. S! Download link: https://app.box.com/s/mtniq6kp2fevrvpmivfmcmkt2tzinzlm The pack is compressed with 7z. Let me know if you have any problem with the download. 216th_Lucas_From_Hell
Gorgeous skins, Peterla! Kozhedub's La-7 in the Monino museum is in fully original condition, and is correct. I've seen it up close, it's an amazing experience. You can climb on steps and peek into the cockpit as well. Keep in mind that some of the details were added after the end of the war, when he was awarded the 3rd Gold Star of Hero of the Soviet Union. If you want to make it look as it did during the war, remove one of the Gold Stars and you're there If you look through profiles, many La-7s were painted in light grey only, with additional markings for visibility like the white tail or red nose.

216th_Peterla
Hi gents, Looks like the thread is been so quiet lately. I'm preparing two more rides. This is the first one. Its almost finished but the red rose on front is little weird on the bottom. Need to work on it more or look for other solution. The other one is also nice and with unique markings. I think both are based on LA-5F rides. Sorry for all my inaccuracies but those color schemes are so nice to let them go. See u soon.

216th_Lucas_From_Hell
I believe the tail and spinner were yellow indeed. Some information on this particular aircraft: Hi,I found some info in MBI book about it. Unit (4 giap VVS KBF) was already re-equipped with La-5F and La-5FN. Technicians painted one of old reserve La-5 (not Lagg-5) as a present to Kostylev on the occasion of his leaving the unit to become an inspector VVS KFB. Surface was 1:1 mix of AMT-11 and AMT-12. Kostylev flew it once - his last, non-combat sortie. There were also three aditional old war-weary La-5 in 4 giap VVS KBF similarly painted (jaws with semicircular teeth), but they served for proficiency flying only. Each squadron had one of them. A number of 4 giap members were photographed in front of these machines.Regards, 66misos

216th_Peterla
Hi gents, Sorry, I was really busy lately but find time to finish a small pack of skins(two). They are based on La-7 and La-5FN profiles so they are "fictional historical": Vitaly Popkov's No.01 La5-FN and LT. Col. F.M. Kosolapov's No.12 La-7. Again I must say I love those skins used on different models. Hopefully one day we will get some of those and we'll do those skins for their real counterparts. S!
