This Volkswagen Beetle (1958-1979) got away, but there are more like it here.

This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle was sold new by Bill Jones Motors of Pueblo, Colorado, and reportedly remained registered in the state through the seller’s June 2012 acquisition. The car is finished in Pearl White over Pigalle leatherette and is powered by a 1.3L flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, chrome hubcaps, four-wheel drum brakes, chrome bumpers and overriders, dual side mirrors, and a Bendix Sapphire I radio. This Beetle is now offered with a tool kit, manufacturer’s literature, a Customer Identification Card, a Volkswagen Certificate, a hand-written log book, and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name.

The car was finished from the factory in Pearl White (L87), and the rear fenders were repainted in 2018. Exterior details include chrome bumpers with overriders as well as dual mirrors, chrome stone guards, front vent windows, chrome “1300” and dealer decklid badging, and dual “pea-shooter” exhaust outlets. Paint chips and cracked weatherstripping are visible. Additional close-up images detailing lighting, badging, and trim are provided in the gallery below.
