This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle is finished in blue over cream vinyl and gray cloth upholstery and is powered by a replacement dual-port 1.6L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a cassette radio, lap belts, chrome bumpers with overriders, drum brakes, and 15″ steel wheels. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2011, and work performed under current ownership included refurbishing the front brakes. This Beetle is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a shop manual, partial service records, and a clean California title.

The body was repainted in its current shade of blue during prior ownership and features chrome bumpers with overriders, rubber-topped running boards, and dual exhaust outlets.

Body-color 15″ steel wheels feature white-painted lips as well as VW-branded hubcaps and are mounted with 165-width Widetrack Radial tires. A matching spare is stored in the front trunk. Braking is handled by drums stationed at all four corners, and the front shoes and cylinders were replaced in 2016.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in cream vinyl with patterned cloth inserts and joined by a tan headliner and door panels along with gray loop pile carpets. A Kenwood cassette stereo has been installed within the body-color dash, and lap belts are equipped for all occupants.

The two-spoke steering wheel wears a chrome horn ring and frames VDO instrumentation including a 90-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 68k miles, approximately 8k of which have been added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The replacement dual-port 1.6L flat-four was overhauled by Get Hot Bug Shop of Pacific Grove, California in 2011 and features a Solex carburetor. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
